Pomplamoose

Pomplamoose

I am a child of the 80s. I’ll admit it. I still listen to music from the 80s a lot (thanks XM!) and if I had to pick just one decade to listen to, it would be 1980-1989.

This episode is mix of covers of pop hits and some new wave. I hope you enjoy it!

Kate York- Boys Don’t Cry (by the Cure)
Sara Lov- Hold Me Now (by the Thompson Twins)
Amy MacDonald- Dancing in the Dark (by Bruce Springsteen)
The Be Good Tanyas- When Doves Cry (by Prince)
Bree Sharp- Boys of Summer (by Don Henley)
Pomplamoose- Beat It (by Michael Jackson)
Save Ferris- Come On Eileen (by Dexy’s Midnight Runners)

  • I love your show and 80s covers at always fantastic! The last song on this show is by Save Ferris, not No Doubt. (Though I think they toured with No Doubt in the 90s…)

  • You’re right! I remember Save Ferris now. The version of the song I had was tagged No Doubt. Thanks for the heads up!

  • Cool version of When Doves Cry. That’s a tough one to redo.
