Something about this video I kind of dig.

I love covers. And I love this one. It’s inspired by the Lady Gaga/Elton John Grammy performance.
Zach Maxwell doing Speechless. His original stuff is pretty awesome too.

Derek Nicoletto is an amazing artist. I loved him when he was with the band Telling On Trixie. Now, with the new project, Derek and the Darling, the awesome music continues.

Token boy? Maybe. This is a girl/boy duo from France who I am enamored with. The boy does lead vocals which can put him under the token boy category. Enjoy.

Minster Hill’s video for Beg You Back is up for Best Music Video at SXSW this year. Their new CD is filled with some great power pop including this song.

I heard about Gavin from my friend MIchael aka mikeypod from mikeypod.com.

This is a 30 minute long performance and I recommend you watch it, but at the very least, watch the first song.

I heard about Tom Howie from his manager Christopher, also known as clcmusic on Twitter. I took one listen to this and fell in love. He sounds like Jeff Buckley with a little Chris Martin thrown in for fun. I just think he’s simply amazing.

You can check out his EP for free on his website tomhowie.com

A former token boy Phil Putnam told me about Kind Monitor and I’m glad he did. This is sweet indie pop at it’s best. There is a lot I could say about Kind Monitor, but you should just check it out for yourself.

I’ve been having some issues getting my itunes library that resides on an external hard drive to sync up on the laptop. I already packed up the desktop for the move back to Atlanta in March. Hopefully, there will be a new show by this weekend.

In the meantime, I have another token boy to introduce you to. His name is Phil Putnam and he recently moved to NYC from Sacramento, CA. He’s an awesome musician and a really nice guy. He’s currently #4 on the Logo Click list. Help him out by voting for him. It’s in alphabetical order.

And check out his video for his song “More Than This”
